The Space Between: There's a gap between every thought and feeling.

We've decided to give each Sofa Chat a theme from now on. The conversations will still be warm and open, with plenty of room for questions and whatever comes up in the room, but we want to start exploring the Stop Restarting territory more directly in each session, so that every time you join us you leave with something specific to sit with.

This Monday we're starting with something that sits right at the heart of it.

Most of our attention is caught by objects. Thoughts, feelings, sensations, perceptions, one after another, each one pulling us along. But between each one, there is already a space. You don't have to create it or look for it. It's simply there, and it's where the pattern that keeps restarting can't reach.
