One to One Conversations

"If something keeps bringing you back here. Maybe it's time for a conversation."

A private conversation with Marcus or Lisa, when you're ready.

If you've been sitting with this for a while, reading, recognising, returning, a private conversation is often where something finally moves.

Seeing the pattern clearly in your own life, in real time, with someone who knows exactly where to look, changes things in a way that reading about it never quite does.

The site is designed to do most of the heavy lifting. But if a conversation feels like the natural next step, Marcus and Lisa are here.

A private conversation with Marcus or Lisa won't give you something new to carry. It might just help you put down something you've been carrying for a long time.

A conversation with Marcus

Marcus developed this work over more than twenty years of direct inquiry and conversation, and that depth is present in every session.

He can meet anyone, wherever they are. Someone who has spent years in deep spiritual inquiry and still finds the loop restarting. Someone new to all of this who simply senses something isn't right. Someone who has read everything and understood it intellectually but needs to see it clearly in their own life, in real time.

What people consistently find is that within a single conversation, something they've been circling for years simply becomes visible. Not as a new idea but as something directly seen. And when the pattern is seen that clearly, something shifts in a way that no amount of reading or thinking ever quite manages.

He works with a limited number of people each week. If something here has been building for a while, a conversation with Marcus is the natural next step.

A conversation with Lisa

Lisa tends to meet people who are just beginning to notice. That their thinking is running their lives. That something beneath the surface has been quietly driving things for longer than they realised. That the answers they've been looking for might not be where they've been looking.

She works at the level of the body and the felt sense, the place where the pattern is held before it has even been named. People who work with Lisa often arrive with a vague but persistent sense that something isn't right. They leave with something felt and known, something that sits differently from anything simply read or understood.

If you're taking your first steps into this territory, or if something in you knows it needs more than words alone, a conversation with Lisa is a gentle and grounded place to begin.

A joint session with Marcus and Lisa

There is something particular about having both Marcus and Lisa in the room together.

Marcus brings a quality of direct seeing, a precision and clarity refined over more than twenty years of conversation. Lisa brings warmth, presence and a depth of listening that reaches the places words alone don't always touch.

Together they bring the masculine and feminine dimensions of this understanding into the room, holding a space that speaks to the whole person.

Some people find this combination opens something a single session doesn't quite reach. It works particularly well for couples, and for anyone who senses their question has both an intellectual and a felt dimension and wants both honoured in the same conversation.

What really changes

People sometimes ask what they can expect from a session.

The self-improvement project quietly loses its grip. The relentless search for a better version of yourself begins to settle. Things that used to send you into a spiral simply don't anymore. The inner critic that was rarely quiet loses its authority.

Decisions come more easily. Relationships feel less loaded. The ordinary moments of daily life, the ones that used to feel heavy, just feel like life again.

For many people it's the most significant change they've experienced, precisely because it reaches something that therapy, self-help and spiritual practice never quite touched. The pattern that was quietly running everything has simply been seen for what it is.

Life moves from Ow to Wow.

You don't start happiness. You stop restarting unhappiness.

Before we talk

A few practical points that often come up.

Is this therapy?

Therapy often focuses on working through the past, processing trauma or treating specific mental health conditions. This work looks at something different. The present moment pattern, the point where a neutral sensation becomes personal and turns into a problem to solve. The two can sit alongside each other comfortably, and many people find they complement each other well.

Is this coaching?

It's different from coaching in the traditional sense. There are no goals to hit, no habits to build and no action plan to take away. What happens is simpler than that. We look together at where internal pressure is being created and how that pressure keeps a loop going. When the pressure reduces, things tend to improve naturally, as a byproduct of the seeing rather than the aim.

What is this based on?

This work grew entirely from Marcus's own direct inquiry and twenty years of conversation with people sitting with the same questions. It reflects established principles around how the brain interprets sensation and how identity-level interpretation shapes experience, and it has points of contact with many traditions, spiritual and psychological. What makes it distinctive is that it emerged from the inside out, from direct experience examined honestly over many years, rather than from any existing framework or teaching.

What if I am dealing with trauma, anxiety or depression?

If you're currently working with a clinician, please continue that support. This work is a complement to professional care, not a replacement for it. What it can do is reduce the additional layer of interpretive pressure that often builds on top of difficult experiences, the stories the mind adds to when something painful is already present. If you are in acute distress, professional medical care should always come first.

What will I actually notice?

Most people notice less internal pressure. Clearer thinking. Fewer cycles of trying to fix themselves. The same sensations may still arise, but they no longer carry the same urgency or weight. Life begins to feel lighter and more open. The ordinary moments that used to feel loaded just feel like life again. For many people it's the most significant shift they've experienced, because it reaches something that other approaches never quite touched.

How many sessions do people usually have?

Many people find real clarity within two or three conversations. Some continue longer, and some find that one conversation is enough. There is no fixed programme and no pressure to commit to anything beyond what feels genuinely useful.

How does this sit alongside meditation or other personal development work?

It doesn't replace them. It clarifies the motive behind them. A practice driven by self-repair quietly strengthens the loop. The same practice approached with genuine curiosity does something quite different. The distinction isn't the activity itself but what sits behind it, and once that's seen clearly, everything else tends to settle into a more natural place.

What if this sounds too simple?

The mechanism is simple. Seeing it clearly is what changes things. Many complex struggles persist because the basic structure underneath has never been looked at directly. Simple doesn't mean superficial. It means getting to what's actually going on rather than adding another layer on top of it.
